A Slightly Bent Sysadmin

So you’ve probably noticed I’ve added some WP plugs here and there.

First you’ll see xspf player. This is a GPL flash based music player that I load my own tunes and mixes in.

Second is myStatus as inspired by a post at 43folders.com. Simple really, but I update this quite a bit, more often than the site. See if I’m working days or nights and other things I may be into, since they change so often. Ideally, I think it would be neato to see how many unread emails I have and how many Skype voicemails I have waiting here just to get a feeling for where I’m at with things.

Third is Audioscrobbler which is powering my last.fm page. I dig this a lot because there are some genres of music I’m not really familiar with, and it will tell me what else I might like, and what other people are listening to that I may like. That, and that I’m a whore as far as pushing my tastes upon others.

Lastly, yes, there are some unobtrusive google ads. I figured why the heck not.

I’d just like to see a page that has pertinent information about me, what I’m thinking, and what I’m up to, since I tend to disappear from people’s sights so much… so I’ll continue working on this till I’m happy.
